Guide was so helpful and friendly and met us as soon as we got off the metro :)

guide was at agreed meeting point on time. he supplied free wifi so he could send us our tickets and explained where we needs to go for the entrance that was included in our tickets. we downloaded the audio guide on to our phones. he talked us through everything we needed to know. you could either listen to the audio or read it as you went around. you do need wifi whilst in the colleseum and Roman foreum as otherwise the map on the Audi guide won't work. this helps you know exactly where you are on the map so you can click on revelant spot to hear the information for that spot. we have been able to read it afterwards still .

You can't visit Rome without visiting the Colosseum! Even just a walk around the outside (for free) will give you a sense of how huge it is!

We learnt all about the ancient amphitheatre including the original name of the colosseum and How long it took to build the colosseum and who built the arena, as well as the gladiators and wild animals used for the gladiator fighting games and shows. Also colosseum visiting tips were offered via email prior to our Rome trip. We enjoyed the tour of the Roman Forum and Palatine hill also. Meeting by the colosseum metro was easy. Next time we will do the colosseum underground tour which allows access to the dungeons. Colosseum tours in Rome provided a great experience of the iconic ancient amphitheatre. The 3 hour Roman forum, palatine hill and colosseum tour with Flavio was fun and informative. Meeting at the colosseo metro was easy. Highlight was the visit to the underground tunnels where the animals were kept and the Colosseum arena floor used for gladiator battles.
