An absolutely unforgettable experience — it exceeded all my expectations. Our guide, Kashif, was exceptional: professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. He shared fascinating insights into the culture and the country in excellent English. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and both the desert drive and the camp were outstanding. I highly recommend it and would book it again without hesitation. Truly worth every euro.

The Dubai safari trip was truly a one-of-a-kind experience and something I will remember for a long time. Our guide, Sultan, was absolutely exceptional. He was extremely polite, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire trip. He explained everything clearly, took beautiful photos of us, waited calmly whenever we needed extra time, and drove very safely and smoothly. He was there whenever we needed him, without ever being intrusive. The experience itself was unforgettable. Driving deep into the desert was thrilling, and sandboarding was such a fun and unique experience. I was also encouraged to take a buggy ride in the desert, and it was 100% worth it. The food was delicious, with a wonderful mix of Arabic, Moroccan, and Emirati cuisine, and the fire show was spectacular. One honest note: I personally feel uncomfortable with animal shows and I would prefer traditional dances for example.

This was truly an *AMAZING* experience - where do I start...coolest activities you will never get to do anywhere else, breath-taking scenery (and OMG the sun-set!), heart-racing adventure at every turn, cultural immersion (including delicious food and unbelievable shows), super-clean facilities and to top it off we were in a brand new car. I lucked out as we had the awesomest group - with people from all over the world and despite language differences we became friends in 1 hour. BEST of ALL was our guide, Dilshad who made the whole day so special. Warm, welcoming, helpful, very skilled (drove like an F1 racer) and extremely funny he won our hearts over in a matter of minutes. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting - it is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life.

We had an amazing time on this premium desert safari. Everything was very well organized, and our guide Mr. Ali Raza from OceanAir Travels was professional, friendly, and always attentive. As two ladies travelling together, we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the experience. He handled the dune bashing confidently, making it exciting yet safe, and took beautiful photos for us. The camp experience was mostly traditional and very enjoyable, with Yola dance, Arabian horse show, camel show, and an impressive fire show. We loved the hot Arabian tea and coffee in the cool weather, the Emirati luqaimat, and the great food. The Al Khayma staff who was near table 34 was kind and always checking on us. Stargazing was a highlight — we even saw Saturn and Jupiter. Highly recommended!

Everything was superb from start to finish. The experience felt very private and exclusive — on New Year’s Eve there were only about 4–5 families, which made the countdown night really special and peaceful. All activities were excellent: dune bashing, sandboarding, camel trekking, and a great live show during dinner. There were also many nice mini activities like henna painting and shisha, which added extra fun and atmosphere. Coffee and tea were surprisingly great, and the staff were all amazing — very kind, supportive, and well-organized throughout the night. The tent was very impressive, comfortable, and well prepared, with plenty of water and soft drinks available all night long. A small tip: bring mosquito spray, it really helps at night. Also, it gets colder than expected, so prepare warm clothing. Overall, a truly memorable and high-quality desert overnight experience. Highly recommended! 🌙🐪✨

A Luxurious Desert Escape at Al Khayma Elite Camp ​If you are looking for a desert experience in Dubai that prioritizes comfort and intimacy over the usual "dune bashing" crowds, the Al Khayma Elite Camp is a fantastic choice. We opted for the Camel Ride and Dining package, and it was the highlight of our trip. ​ ​The "Elite" experience started right at our doorstep. A private car picked us up directly from our Airbnb in Business Bay. Our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive, making the drive into the desert feel like a VIP tour rather than just a transfer. ​ ​The Camel Ride: We enjoyed a 45-minute camel trek through the dunes. Unlike shorter rides offered elsewhere, this gave us enough time to truly soak in the beautiful, expansive desert views and capture some incredible photos. ​After the ride, we were treated to a private tea break. Watching the falconry display (hawk watching) in the quiet of the dunes was a serene and culturally rich experience that felt very personal. ​The evening concluded at the camp with a good quality dinner and a series of traditional performances. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was magical under the stars. ​⚠️ Pro-Tip: The Great Escape ​While the entire evening was seamless, I have one crucial piece of advice for future travelers: ​Leave early! I highly recommend heading for the exit immediately after the last belly dance performance. ​Because all the tour companies use the same main track to exit the desert, the traffic can become an absolute bottleneck. If you wait until the very end, you’ll find every car trying to squeeze onto the same road at once, and the "insane" traffic could leave you stuck in the desert much longer than planned. Leaving just 10–15 minutes early ensures a smooth, private ride back to the city.

I visited Al Khayma Camp as part of a desert experience tour, and it was easily the highlight of the entire trip. The staff—many of them Egyptian—were the definition of warm, gracious hospitality, going out of their way to make every guest feel genuinely welcome and at home. The food was excellent, with a generous and well-curated selection of Arabian, Moroccan, and Emirati specialties, all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and authentic, and even the camels (and the resident cats!) added to the charm with their friendly presence. A truly memorable desert experience that combines great food, heartfelt hospitality, and a wonderful setting. Highly recommended.

Great experience, the food was delicious, there were dacing shows, the music was nice. People very friendly. We had the camel ride twice but you can do it many times. Camels are healthly with no evidence of animal abuse, you can even feed them. The restrooms were spacious and clean. Stores a bit pricey though.

Our experience at Al Khayma Camp was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with Arabic coffee and traditional delicacies that instantly set the mood for an authentic desert adventure. The camp itself is beautifully set up, cozy, clean, and well-organized, giving you the perfect blend of comfort and culture. There were so many activities to enjoy! We got to try henna painting and experience a peaceful camel ride that made us feel like we were part of an old Arabian story. The buffet dinner was impressive, with a wide variety of flavorful dishes, everything was fresh and delicious. The evening show was the highlight of the night! The talented performers, especially the fire dancers, were mesmerizing and full of energy. The entire atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, surrounded by the beautiful desert night sky. Most of all, the guides and staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, always making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Everything was well-coordinated from start to finish. I highly recommend Al Khayma Camp to anyone visiting Dubai, it’s the perfect way to experience the desert, local culture, and warm Arabian hospitality all in one place!
