We were with Nelson on buggy tour, and the bare minimum that I can say is that it was amazing. Nelson is the tour guide without whom it wouldn’t be the same. Knows alot about history and the facts about the island, he was very humoristic and professional, and very patient and tolerant with pictures. For a reasonable price he made a exeptional tour day.

Best Buggy Tour. I have been with Nelson twice, and it has always been a pleasure. He's a pretty funny and knowledgeable guy, and of course, the tours are one of the best I've ever participated in. Also, the new buggies are a lot of fun and will climb on any rock, sometimes even walls... (sorry about that again 😇) Totally recommend this dude; I don't think you'll find a better tour on Madeira. Maybe see you for a third ride 😁 All the best.

we did the 9am buggy tour and it was amazing! Nelson had very clear communication beforehand ( we originally booked the afternoon tour but he advised us to do the morning since the weather would be better) the buggy ride was a lot of fun and what was really nice was that we were with only 2 buggy’s which gave a very personal experience! Nelson shared a lot of interesting stories about Madeira with a good amount of humor every now and then:) Would 10/10 recommend, definitely worth the money!

We went as a family day out, Nelson picked us up from our hotel & took us up towards the north into the mountains - he explained very well on how to drive & handle the buggy’s….we took several stops & took in some epic scenery for photos. Highly recommended to see the island outside of Funchal, our guide Nelson was charming & entertaining - he even dropped off our items left in his van back to the hotel!
