We had a lovely experience booking through "Get Your Guide." The mini-bus was very comfortable, and our tour guide was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The activities were precisely as described, and we would certainly recommend this experience.
Our experience was a bit underwhelming to the photos that were advertised, but it may be due to the time of year we visited. But for £14 per person we couldnt hugely complain but wouldn't necessarily visit again. The views leading up to paradise valley was the best bit.
Great Day Exploring Paradise Valley and Local Life I joined the Paradise Valley tour, and it was such an interesting and memorable experience! On the way, we stopped at a lovely botanical garden in Alma, where we learned about bees, desert plants, and local products like honey and argan oil — and even got to try and buy some. Next, we stopped at the viewpoint at La Palmeraie de Tamzargot (Tamzergourte), which offered incredible views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The drive itself was fascinating, passing through small local villages I never knew existed — it was amazing to see how people live in the Atlas Mountains. The hike up and down to Paradise Valley was definitely a bit of a challenge, but worth it for the scenery and the experience. Due to the drought, the main ponds you often see in photos were unfortunately dry, but we still had a lovely time relaxing at the fish spa and enjoying a nice meal afterwards. Our guide was friendly and informative, sharing interesting facts and making the whole day enjoyable. Even without the famous blue pools, it was a great adventure and a unique look into local nature and culture.
