A very busy historic location that is full of tourist. Don’t buy combo tickets, just show up early in the morning just before the ticket booth opens and you will get in easily and stay ahead of the tour groups.

Marhaba! I Went there for prayers. Fridays prayers queue is a bit longer. The Friday sermon start 1/2 hour after the adzhan. The architectural was very fascinating. It was formerly a church and a museum. You can feel the ottoman’s influence in there. Would love to visit again someday.

A stunning place to visit, you can buy the 35 euros ticket to skip the long waiting line to enter the big mosque. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction work, but in general, you will enjoy the experience.

Deficated in AD 360. The last of three church buildings to be successively erected on the site by the Eastern Roman Empire, it was completed in AD 537 by the Byzantine emperor Justinian I. Enrico Dandolo, the Doge of Venice who commanded the sack and invasion of the city in 1204, is buried inside the church. In the XIX century, an Italian restoration team placed a cenotaph marker, frequently mistaken as being a medieval artifact, near the probable location and is still visible. The original tomb was destroyed by the Ottomans during the conversion of the church into a mosque. The mosaics are awesome. I strongly recommend 'skip the line' tickets.

It is one of the best places to visit in the world!!! A unique UNESCO monument that they disrespectfully transformed to mosque… Quite hilarious to be part of this. Please don’t visit any more…
