Far above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway lies the Lofoten Islands, an archipelago that offers everything a landscape photographer could dream of. Spectacular coastlines meet towering mountain peaks and crystal-clear waters, while quaint fishing villages and deep fjords provide endless visual inspiration. The combination of dramatic landscapes and ever-changing weather makes Lofoten truly unique. In winter, the islands transform into a magical wonderland as snow blankets the mountains, the low sun casts a gentle golden light across the scenery, and the night sky comes alive with the dancing Northern Lights. This captivating environment allows photographers to create images that are both powerful and evocative, capturing the essence of one of the most stunning regions in the world.

During this immersive seven-day journey we will explore the most inspiring photo locations across the Lofoten Islands, including the beaches of Vikten, Uttakleiv and Haukland, the villages of Ramberg, Nusfjord, Henningsvær, as well as the iconic Reine and Hamnøy. Lesser-known spots will also provide equally breathtaking photo opportunities. With long daylight hours in February, we will have ample time to photograph morning and evening light, capturing the atmospheric colors and subtle moods of the Arctic landscape. Twilight hours may bring encounters with wildlife such as moose or sea eagles, adding life to the pristine scenery. Throughout the trip we will review our photographs, discuss techniques, and edit our work together. I will guide you through my Lightroom workflow to enhance your images efficiently and effectively. By the end of this journey, you will have strengthened your photography skills, learned to tell meaningful stories through your images, and experienced an unforgettable adventure in one of the most beautiful and photogenic places on Earth.
