Senja, located in the northernmost part of Norway, is the country’s second largest island and a true paradise for photographers seeking dramatic and unspoiled landscapes. The wild and remote archipelago offers everything from towering mountain peaks and deep fjords to rugged coastlines and charming fishing villages. Often called “Norway in Miniature,” Senja is a hidden gem, still largely untouched compared to the more famous Lofoten Islands. In winter, the scenery transforms into a magical wonderland as snow blankets the mountains, the low sun casts a soft golden glow across the landscape, and the night sky comes alive with the dancing Northern Lights. The combination of raw nature and atmospheric light makes every moment a unique opportunity for capturing stunning photographs that convey both beauty and emotion.

During this immersive six day photography journey, we will explore the most inspiring locations between Tromsø and Senja, including breathtaking spots such as Tungeneset, Bergsbotn, Bøvær, and Ånderdalen National Park. With long hours of daylight at the end of February, there will be plenty of time to photograph, enjoy the landscapes, and engage in other activities. Morning and evening light will provide the perfect conditions for dramatic images, while the twilight hours may offer encounters with wild animals such as moose and reindeer that bring the untouched scenery to life. Throughout the trip, we will review our photographs, discuss techniques, and refine our work together. I will guide you through an effective Lightroom workflow to enhance your photos quickly and meaningfully. By the end of this journey, you will have strengthened your photography skills, learned to tell stories through images, and experienced an unforgettable adventure in one of the most beautiful and photogenic places in the world.
