Multi-day hire of a two-seater canoe is an excellent way to explore the beautiful Lake Cootharaba at your own pace, either alone or with a friend. Hires begin at nine in the morning on the first day and conclude by four in the afternoon on the final day. Guests are provided with life jackets and paddles, ensuring safety throughout their adventure. All equipment must remain on-site, and early returns will not be eligible for full or partial refunds, so it is important to select dates carefully. Participants must be well-prepared, experienced, and self-sufficient, as no support or rescue is provided once you depart. In case of emergency, guests are instructed to call 000. The canoe allows for exploration of the lake, quiet wildlife observation, and the enjoyment of fresh air and gentle physical activity.

Check-in is required at Habitat Noosa Reception, where guests complete a risk waiver, receive safety instructions, and are issued a boarding pass prior to accessing the canoe. All participants must be able to swim, and children under eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
