Michele was an amazing tour guide! He shared detailed history but also brought it to life with humor! We had so much fun. Pompeii was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Michele and Iamme Ia!
I was sceptical to book this tour as there were no reviews since 2024. But I needn't have worried! Although I had to prompt the operator to provide a pick up time (as with 24 hours to go this still had not been provided!) communication on the day was perfect, I was even advised via email that the driver would be slightly later than planned picking me up. The tour of Pompeii was absolutely fabulous, our guide was Sasa and he was knowledgeable, funny, engaging and respectful. The second part of the trip was Vesuvius. Again, this was absolutely fabulous. It was a self guided walk to the top (around 25/30 minutes) and the views from the top were absolutely stunning. The transfers provided were comfortable, quick and air-conditioned as stated. I had booked as a solo traveller, there were others booked onto the Pompeii tour but I was the only one for Vesuvius, and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. Thank you for a very enjoyable day!
Such a wonderful experience with our guide Robby (Roberto) and driver Giovanni! Robby did an amazing job explaining the history and highlights on both the drive and in each town. He was excellent with explaining the best places to visit, both historic and stores. He made sure the group knew exactly what was happening and what to expect each step of the way. He also arranged for a large group reservation in a local restaurant so we could be seated and eat right away. I think he may secretly be the mayor of the Amalfi coast, because he knows everyone! Oh, and he’s also so funny. Giovanni is an excellent driver!! Thank you both for the wonderful day! So sorry about the butcher!
