Depending on the season, this adventure offers different themes, from the magical Midnight Sun in summer to the soft twilight of spring and autumn, and the mesmerizing Northern Lights in winter. As you traverse the hills, you will enjoy breathtaking views over Reykjavík, Mosfellsbær, and even the volcanic mountains of the Reykjanes Peninsula, with glimpses of steaming geothermal areas and the distant Snæfellsjökull Glacier. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about local flora and fauna, including the healing Arctic plants like Angelica Archangelica and the summer’s singing birds, or in winter, the Arctic fox and ptarmigans. The tour is designed for small groups, with a maximum of eight participants, although larger groups up to sixteen can be arranged by special request. Pickup from most hotels in the Reykjavík area is included, though certain downtown zones require guests to meet at designated tourist bus stops, conveniently located nearby. Guests may also choose to meet directly at the basecamp, just a short drive from downtown. Two people can share each quad, with pricing per person, and solo riders are required to book a solo ride. Children are welcome to participate at a reduced rate, and all drivers must hold a valid driving license.
