The basic ticket is more than enough to experience the aquarium and enjoy the main attractions. From the beginning, there is a lot of pressure to purchase photos, which feels rushed and takes away from the experience. The glass-bottom boat ride lasts only about three minutes, the penguin encounter is very brief, and the pet feeding activity is something anyone can do, making the upgrades feel overpriced and unnecessary. Overall, it’s a nice attraction for a short visit, especially if you’re already at the mall, but it’s not a 5-star experience. Save your money, stick with the basic option, and keep expectations realistic.

While you can see the massive main tank for free from the mall, buying a ticket gets you into the 48-meter walkthrough tunnel and the Underwater Zoo on the upper level. The real value lies in the Underwater Zoo upstairs. It is split into three zones: Rainforest, Rocky Shore, and Living Ocean. The highlight here is undoubtedly "King Croc," a massive saltwater crocodile that is genuinely awe-inspiring. The presentation and enclosure for him are top-notch. The penguin encounter is cute if you have kids, though the area can feel a bit small. I recommend the "Explorer" ticket if you want a bit more than just the basics, but skip the glass-bottom boat ride unless you have time to kill—it’s a very short loop and doesn't offer a drastically different view than the tunnel. Crowds can be overwhelming, especially on weekends. Go early on a weekday morning to actually enjoy the exhibits without being jostled.
