OMGOSH! I did the Bikes, Bites & Brews bike tour and Gabe was an absolutely FABULOUS guide! I’m visiting from Dallas, and this was my first-ever guided bike tour—and it FAR exceeded my expectations! Gabe is the perfect balance of friendly conversation, accurate and extensive Chicago knowledge, humor, and truly great listening skills (a huge bonus!). As a teacher, I’m picky about clear instructions as well as safety—and I appreciate when guides don’t wander off into unnecessary details. Gabe nailed the balance perfectly. The equipment was high-quality and well maintained, and the price was terrific!!. Pizza, a hot dog, a brownie, and a beer were ALL included in the price! My husband and I were visiting Chicago for a quick weekend trip. We add this tour last minute and are so glad that we did! Gabe was our tour guide and I guess due to the date and weather we were the only two on the tour. Gabe was great a tour guide and made the two of us feel so welcomed. He was a great story teller full of great facts about Chicago. The food was delicious and a first for us. The Chicago dog was a surprising highlight for us. We can’t wait to try another tour on future visits!
