The Chatham Step Over Beach Cruiser Electric Bike offers an exceptional ride for both casual cruisers and serious e-bike enthusiasts. With a top speed of 20 mph and six levels of pedal assist plus a convenient thumb throttle, you have full control over your speed and power. The bike is powered by a 500W geared rear hub motor and features a Shimano Tourney 7-speed Mega-Range drivetrain, making uphill rides and headwinds effortless. Wide 3-inch tires with puncture protection ensure a smooth and stable ride, while 180mm Tektro mechanical disc brakes provide reliable stopping power in all conditions. The bike weighs 64 lbs including the battery and can carry riders up to 350 lbs, combining strength, comfort, and durability for an enjoyable adventure.
On the day of your rental, depending on availability, pouches, helmets, and cup holders can be provided upon request, while locks are required for non-all-day rentals. Riders should bring their rental confirmation, appropriate biking apparel, shoes, sunscreen, and water. A public parking lot is conveniently located at the corner of Highland Avenue and Rosecrans Avenue. Although the Chatham Cruiser boasts a maximum range of 52 miles on pedal assist or 22 miles on throttle only, battery life may vary with age and usage. Staff will ensure your battery is fully charged and provide instructions on how to preserve it during your ride, but riders are responsible for managing the battery while exploring the area.

Used a Longtail cargo bike on a rental basis and then a more powerful bike on longer term bike trial. The more powerful Shimano motor made a big difference and it was great for city commutes and for transporting two children. Excellent service from Bleeper.

I have been a customer of Bleeper rental bikes for upwards of ten years. Last week all membership passes and subscriptions were stopped. This was done without notication from Bleeper Bike Rental. When I contacted the Company by phone I was informed that access to all the above have been suspended till early December for a computer update leaving I assume hundreds of members in limbo. Bleeper has treated their loyal customers with complete Distain.
