This underwater navigation course is suitable for ages 10 to 75 and small groups of four. Participants must have good general fitness and be certified Open Water Diver or higher. Across three dives with a dedicated instructor, you will learn to navigate using natural underwater landmarks and a compass to track multi-heading courses. The course begins at 8:30am at the dive school with gear fitting and an introduction to dive site maps, natural references, and land-based practice walks to get comfortable with using a compass. Learning navigation enhances safety and confidence, helping you feel more oriented and aware both underwater and on land. On the first day, you will complete two dives, with a lunch break at a nearby taverna. On the second day, you will complete one dive focused on more complex patterns using a compass and sextant.
Expert instruction in your own language, transport to and from the dive site if needed, and air and weights are included. Lunch and photos taken by your guide are not included. All participants must be medically fit, and pregnant women should not dive. Arrive 10 minutes early for check-in with QR code ready. Bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, wallet, contact lenses if needed, dry clothes, and a dry bag for wet items. Calm seas, fantastic visibility, small groups, and step-by-step guidance make this course ideal for divers looking to increase confidence, master navigation skills, and safely explore underwater environments.
