The PADI Open Water Diver course is perfect for those taking their first steps in scuba diving. Suitable for ages 10 and above and small groups of four, this four-day course teaches you to think like a diver, safely plan dives, set up equipment, and dive to 18 meters with a buddy. You will be guided by experienced instructors in your own language, focusing on safety and individual attention. Confined water dives take place in calm, protected bays with incredible visibility and abundant marine life. Each day begins at 8:30am, starting with gear fitting, safety briefings, and practice exercises in the water. After lunch, you will continue with more exercises and skill development under expert supervision. The course includes three more confined water dives and four open water dives over the following days, providing a solid foundation for future diving adventures around the world. You are expected to complete the theory e-learning portion in your own time, including the first three chapters within the first two days.
Transport to and from dive sites is included, along with air, weights, personalised teaching in small groups, and full equipment rental including BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, snorkel, and dive computer. Lunch and pictures taken by your guide are not included. All participants must be medically fit, able to swim, and complete the PADI medical questionnaire. Pregnant women or those attempting pregnancy should not dive. Arrive on time each day for check-in and gear fitting. Bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, wallet, contact lenses if needed, dry clothes, and a dry bag. Calm seas, fantastic visibility, small group sizes, and step-by-step guidance make this course an ideal introduction to safe and confident scuba diving for beginners.
