Discover a surreal volcanic world as you reach Piano Provenzana and continue with an authorized off-road bus through vast lava flows and extinct craters. Guided by an expert volcanologist, you’ll explore the Volcanological Observatory near 2,850 meters above sea level, surrounded by a striking black lava desert and breathtaking views of the coastline and Valle del Bove. We took a helicopter tour over Mount Etna and it was even better than we expected! We had an amazing time from start to finish. We decided to pay extra for a guide, and it was absolutely worth it. Our guide, Claudio, was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of fascinating information about the volcano and the surrounding area. After the tour, Claudio even took us to a local eatery, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to end an already unforgettable experience. The entire tour was incredible, and I honestly wouldn’t want to have missed it. I’m so glad we decided to do this. Highly recommended!

We took a private tour of Mt Etna and Taormina! The tour was a breathtaking and impressive experience! While a bit worried about the weather, we were lucky enough to get the Summit all clear! Best helicopter tour ever!!

Best thing ever! I booked it for my sister 55 birthday trip. Driver was super nice and friendly and knowledgeable. Helicopter pilot also nice and had a very smooth flight.

I was travelling solo and booked the Etna 3000 tour with Etna Way. Our guide Claudio was fantastic – very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything in both German and English so everyone felt included. The hike itself wasn’t too difficult or tiring, just a couple of downslopes, and I really enjoyed walking with a lovely German family I met on the tour. After a quick stop at the souvenir shop (where I picked up some local honey!), we visited a lava cave. Claudio shared the history and stories behind it in such an engaging way, which made the experience even more fascinating. It does get quite cold up there, so a fleece or jacket is a must, and hiking boots are definitely recommended. Highly recommend this tour and Claudio as a guide!

The Etna and Wine Tour was a wonderful adventure. A must do for a comprehensive Etna experience. Claudio was so accommodating and knowledgable. We learned so much about the area, hiked the craters, went into a cave, walked the lava fields and had a fantastic wine tasting and huge lunch at a winery. Don’t hesitate booking this tour!
