What a great area for a hike. The view your looking for here is up the trail up a bit of a hill, just keep going until you see a clear view of the bay. There's also areas to walk down to the water and see the Niagara escarpment along the bay which have some really nice formations. The landscape is amazing.
Beautiful views! You park in the circle at the end of the unpaved road. There is a path at the back of the circle. Towards the start of the path, there is a short but treacherous path down to the bottom of the shore. Totally worth it if you are able. The views of the bluffs from down there are amazing. I attached a screenshot of where the path down to the shore starts. A short way further down the main path there is a great view from the top of one of the bluffs, also definitely worth it. I wouldn’t recommend going much further after the overlook, though. The path through the woods does eventually make a loop back to the parking lot, but it is long and confusing and not particularly scenic. There are many unmarked intersections, and the map at the parking lot is faded, so make sure you have a virtual map and a fully charged phone. The private property is clearly labeled at least.
Beautiful views. A bit of a hike. Fairly easy to walk. We stopped, unplanned, just to check it out and I had on flip flops and was able to walk on the trail although I definitely recommend better shoes.
