Disappointing. Felt like I was simply an add on to a Chinese speaking tour, even though it was advertised as an English tour. Guide was not local and communicated in Chinese to the other guests most of the tour which felt awkward. Guide was not local and provided no local commentary, history etc. He also smoked his vape in the car most of the trip. Was just a taxi driver it felt like. Was definitely not a guided tour. He also added an extra stop to cater to the other guests selfie obsession (not somewhere worth stopping). This along with the endless waiting for the other guests to take their multiple selfies in multiple poses at every stop, meant we didnt see Reine (bypassed it) and got to A when it was dark. It felt like pit stop taxi tour. I raised my concerns about losing daylight to no prevail. We past so many beautiful natural spots to stop at touristy areas. Did not deliver what was advertised.
My brother and I took a tour with Johan and had a fantastic day touring Lofoten Island. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Johan was a fantastic tour guide who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and all having a great time. Johan was a fantastic guide and we had such a wonderful day.
We had an amazing day exploring the southern part of the Lofoten Islands. We were so lucky to start the year with incredible light, perfect visibility, and a stunning moon! Andy was an excellent guide, friendly, professional, and a very careful driver. He even took plenty of photos of us and shared them at the end of the tour, which was a lovely touch. The price is higher than some other options, but it truly reflects the quality of the service we received. Plus, we were fortunate to enjoy clear, beautiful weather, which made the experience even more special!
