We dined at the Kota Restaurant at the Arctic SnowHotel and overall had a mixed experience. The setting is absolutely stunning and very unique, which made the evening feel special from the start. We ordered reindeer and salmon. The entrée was amazing — beautifully presented and full of flavour. I had the salmon as my main, which was excellent: perfectly cooked and very tasty. Unfortunately, my partner’s reindeer with mashed potatoes was served cold and wasn’t really well flavoured, which was very disappointing, especially given the quality and price point expected at a restaurant like this. It’s a shame, as the location and concept are incredible, but more attention to seasoning and serving temperature would greatly improve the experience.

Great experience, the reindeer & the salmon was tasty & the service was superb. The whole experience was just great.

Had a lovely lunch while visiting the Arctic Snow Hotel for the day. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The salmon pasta was delicious and my Mum enjoyed the reindeer pasta. The hot berry juice is so good - I had some on my trip to Lapland in 2007 and was excited to have it again! The atmosphere was relaxed and we enjoyed sitting by the fire. Prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice restaurant that I tried as part of my ice hotel package. The quantities are perfect : you don’t feel too full after the meal which I prefer for a dinner. Service is very friendly and responsive too. The environment is cozy. Loved it!

We ate here for 3 nights as part of our hotel reservation. The Kota restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with the fire in the middle, staff are warm and friendly, good choice of drinks available to buy. We ordered from the very limited set menu - carrot soup to start, sautéed reindeer with mashed potato and lingonberry / salmon fillet with potatoes and lentils, then lingonberry cake with white chocolate mousse for afters. If it had been longer than a 3 night stay, it might have been more tedious, but we enjoyed each course and felt the portion sizes were good. It is expensive, but on our visits the quality was good, and I suppose you pay a premium for the location.
