The canoe rental includes a paddle for each person and a complete safety kit containing a whistle, a 15-meter rope, and a bailer. These essentials ensure that you can enjoy your paddling experience safely while exploring the scenic waters of Algonquin Park. Having the right equipment allows beginners and experienced paddlers alike to navigate the lake comfortably, while also providing peace of mind in case of any unexpected situations.
It is important to note that Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) are not included in the rental price and must be added at checkout if you do not have your own, as they are required by law. Additionally, park permits are not included and must be obtained by the client, especially if you plan to camp overnight. Ensuring you have these items in advance will help make your outdoor adventure safe, smooth, and fully enjoyable.

Fantastic Level 2 Kayaking Course with Keith! Keith was amazing — patient, knowledgeable, and knew exactly when to push us (and when not to!). We (Carmel and Sarah) were the two oldest in the group, with one of us new to kayaking, but he made it fun, supportive, and full of laughs. The group was an added bonus — we’re now all on WhatsApp calling ourselves The Liffey Lickers! Can’t wait for our next river trip with Keith to build on everything we learned.
