Since we found Anur Tour on the internet about six months ago, we can't fault their service and attention to detail. The person who deserves a massive thank you is Elina. Her prompt replies, meeting with us upon arrival in Tashkent and the series of WhatsApp messages letting us know details of which guide and driver would be meeting us at various times, restaurant suggestions and tips. Elina organised a tour of the Fergana Valley, a three day trip into Tajikistan requiring two border crossings and three separate train rides. To our two wonderful guides, Kamol in the Fergana Valley and Shahnoza in Tajikistan - thank you for providing such terrific tours. Plus our drivers: Fahridden, Askar, Usman and Konstantin. What's more when I left my sunglasses in a Samarkand Hotel Elina was able to get them delivered to my hotel in Tashkent when I returned three days later. Thank you Anur Tour and Elina John and Penny, Melbourne, Australia

We booked our customised 5-Stan tour covering Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan through Anur Tours, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The entire trip was very well organised — from visa arrangements and transfers to accommodations and sightseeing. Elina managed everything seamlessly, providing clear pre-travel notes and prompt communication throughout. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, the tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful, hassle-free experience and would highly recommend Anur Tours to anyone planning a trip across Central Asia! 🌏✨

Hi Narina and Elena. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for looking after us so well from the start of our correspondence on email to the highlight of our trip, Chimgan Mountain Hike. Imon and Otabek were wonderful guides and looked after us so well. We felt safe in their care and Imon went at our pace, supporting and encouraging us every step of the way. It was just a wonderful experience & your attention to every detail that we outlined is so appreciated. You are both a huge asset to the Anur Tour team and bring such a wonderful positive attitude to everything that you do, both in person and via text/email. I still can't believe that you maintained contact, even while on your own holiday, Narina. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING! 🥰🌹❤️

I booked through Anur Tour the three-day Turkmenistan tour departing Khiva returning to Bukhara. From my initial e-mail enquiry to post-tour follow-up, tour manager Elina was super-responsive, always communicating the latest tour update (especially with regards to the LOI needed to secure the Turkmenistan visa. The tour itself ran like clockwork, everything was on time as scheduled, the drivers were so incredibly skilled at driving comfortably and smoothly off-road through the Karakum Desert. The guide Durdimurat was very knowledgeable and helpful (got me through Turkmenistan border entry in just 20-30 minutes, when the average processing time usually takes 2-3 hours). I was shown many facets of Turkmen society, history, culture, geography and daily life, as well as three UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Kunya-Urgench, Old Nisa, and Merv), and visited the Derwaza gas crater, and a number of old Zoroastrian sites. In Ashgabat Durdimurat took me to eat in the Russian Bazaar where the locals had their meals. The Sport Hotel where I stayed in Ashgabst was elegant, luxurious and very comfortable. At the end of the tour Durdimurat gave me some souvenirs of Turkmenistan - small but generous gestures to remind me of my memorable stay in his country. After this three-day tour, I left Turkmenistan with a deep appreciation of the country, hoping to return soon for a longer tour to see more of the country.....and for sure I'll be booking the next tour in Turkmenistan/Central Asia through Elina at Anur Tour. I'm so impressed by Elina's responsiveness, dedication and professionalism.

I found Anur Tour back in January, and from that very first moment until the end of my trip in May, Elina was incredible. She answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly, providing unwavering support throughout the entire planning and booking process. Elina was truly the best—professional, responsive, and deeply caring. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, the whole trip was arranged seamlessly and stress-free. In Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, my guide Ruslan and driver Altynbek quickly became like my own Kyrgyz brothers. They were friendly, professional, and made every part of the journey enjoyable and insightful. Their local knowledge and genuine hospitality gave me a rich understanding of the culture and history. The breathtaking nature of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan—the vast steppes, majestic mountains, and crystal-clear alpine lakes—left a lasting impression on me. While Ruslan and Altynbek sometimes spoke in their native languages, which made me feel a bit left out of their conversations, I completely understood that was necessary, and it did not diminish the warmth or fun of our time together. In Uzbekistan, I was fortunate to have two fantastic guides, Hilola and Zarina, who showed me the wonders of Samarkand and Tashkent with passion and deep knowledge. Their enthusiasm and storytelling brought history vividly to life, creating unforgettable memories. Unfortunately, my experience with the guide in Bukhara was very disappointing. She often seemed impatient, frequently interrupting me before I could finish speaking, which made our interactions uncomfortable. Moreover, during meals, she would order excessive amounts of food under the pretense it was for both of us but then expected me to pay the entire bill each time. This felt inconsiderate and unprofessional, casting a shadow over what was otherwise an incredible journey. I was quite upset by this, as it detracted from what I had hoped would be a highlight of the trip. Despite this, the overall cultural richness of Uzbekistan and the professionalism of the other guides made the experience worthwhile. My Tajik guide was excellent—knowledgeable, attentive, and careful, especially navigating the sometimes challenging mountain roads. One of the absolute highlights of the Tajik part of my trip was visiting the stunning Seven Lakes (Haft Kul). The natural beauty of these turquoise lakes, nestled high in the mountains, was breathtaking. The pristine environment, combined with the peaceful atmosphere, made it a truly unforgettable experience. My guide’s deep understanding of the local landscape and culture enriched the visit, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the region and its people. The drive was comfortable despite the rugged terrain, and I felt safe and well cared for throughout. Exploring Tajikistan’s remote and spectacular nature was a perfect balance to the historic cities of Uzbekistan and vibrant culture of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Throughout the trip, the hotels and accommodations were comfortable and well chosen, with convenient locations that added to the ease of travel. This was easily one of the best trips I have ever taken. Anur Tour’s attention to detail, flexibility, and the warmth of the entire team made it a truly memorable adventure. I would love to see even more cultural workshops or cooking classes offered in the future to deepen engagement with local traditions. If you’re considering traveling through Central Asia, I wholeheartedly recommend Anur Tour. Special thanks again to Elina, Ruslan, Altynbek, Hilola, Zarina, and my Tajik guide—you all made this journey exceptional and unforgettable!
