Guide books are not updated. Its now a combined pak - Hieropolis + Pamukkale white terraces. One ticked Euro 30. Better to take a golf buggy. By walk its about 3 kms round trip. Both are unique and great places to see. Hierapolis was much bigger tha we expected.

Nov. 2025 Travertine Terraces were great, even in the cold. Cleopatras Pools are closed and no one can tell you when they are opening. They are constructing a new entrance building and a new building near cleopatras pools that both look almost done, so maybe that is it. Complex is huge. You can rent a cart driver at 50euro for 1 hr or walk. No many bathrooms. Great Cafe near the terraces. Must see...Terraces, the Gate, the Necropolis, the ampiTheatre was Amazing! Climb down to the fence and get on each side of the semicircle and speak in a normal voice. You can easily hear each other. We walked to Phillips tomb. Just the thought of walking where Apostles walked is mind blowing to me. No one's English is great so it's hard when you have a question. They offer an audio guide. Then they hand you wireless headphones (new in box to keep) and give you a card with a QR that leads to an app that costs money, so just fyi.

My favorite place in Turkey. The ancient theater, the museum, the stunning landscape views, and the thermal pools combine to make this an incredible stop. I would recommend at least 2 hours here if not more. If you're short on time you can hire a cart to get you to the different areas faster.
