Long Sleeves and Pants (Recommended): While it might seem counterintuitive in the heat, long sleeves and pants provide excellent protection from the sun's harsh UV rays and also against sand and dust.
Light Jacket or Shawl: Evenings in the desert can get surprisingly cool, especially after sunset. A light layer will be appreciated for the BBQ dinner and entertainment.
Closed-Toe Shoes or Sneakers: Crucial for walking in sand, dune bashing, and any optional activities like quad biking. Flip-flops or open sandals are not recommended as sand can get hot and challenging to walk in.
