Free spotting on reindeers. Visitors can purchase to moss from the shop to feed the reindeers. Free access to exhibition. All other safaris need to book one day in advance. Overall we had a amazing passing by here.

We were passing by looking for something to do. They staff are nice and helpful. You can park there and see reindeer for free or buy some food to feed them. The animal exhibition is also free and interesting. You can have a hot drink or a lunch buffet before leaving. We also had a walk around the park and the frozen lake.

I did a husky safari and the staff was friendly. However, if you care about animal welfare, I would not recommend this place for the following reasons: 1. The huskies are tied to very short ropes for long periods before and after the tour. At the beginning, when they are full of energy, they become very restless trying to get free. 2. Because they stay tied for so long, they urinate and defecate in the same area and are forced to wait there in unsanitary conditions. 3. Although visitors are allowed to interact with the dogs, some seemed scared and reacted as if they expected to be hit. 4. Several dogs looked frightened, with their tails between their legs. 5. The group was quite large (around 16 people), which likely makes the experience more profitable but increases stress for the dogs. Personally, I would not do it again. I would look for a place with smaller groups and more transparency about how the dogs are raised and cared for.

View from the fells of Salla: rocky terrain, spruce and birch forests, and wide horizons opening towards the wilderness. Especially beautiful now in autumn when the colors are at their brightest."

We have booked two realy great tours fom here. If you are there in wintertime we can recommend the evening Tour wit the reindeer. And as well the husky tours. Thanks to the guides on both tours which made it an unforgettable trip. Friendly personal on the phone and at the reception.
