The day begins with a departure from Uçagız, accompanied by a motorized support vessel to ensure safety and guidance. The group will paddle along the scenic coastline towards Kekova Island, making a stop at Tersane Bay for a refreshing swim. From there, participants continue kayaking over the protected ancient Lycian region of Kekova. Swimming is not permitted in this area, so kayaking provides the perfect way to explore the Sunken City and capture stunning photographs of the submerged ruins.
The adventure continues with a visit to Simena, also known as Kaleköy, where visitors can explore the small authentic village, its castle ruins, and the necropolis. A hike up the hillside offers panoramic views of the Kekova region. The tour also includes a stop at Theimussa to admire impressive Lycian sarcophagi before returning to the kayak base. The day concludes with a relaxing lunch in Üçağiz, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy local cuisine after an exciting and culturally rich kayaking experience.
