Andreas

The site is not in a prime state. While I appreciate the idea of putting transparent glass roofs replacing the collapsed original roofing on two of the towers to allow better illumination, it feels slightly out of place. Proper restoration might be the better solution - which would be a lot more costly, obviously. Due to the state of the site, there's not too much to see. The information panels are informative and add value.

Very beautiful old church but it's a little bit far from dilijan city and no taxi to come back they will take double price

Beautiful place, old churches, carved stones. Interesting, but the road is inconvenient. If you like history, it's worth stopping by.

What a beautiful location and the drizzle just added to the charm of this beautiful Monastery. There wasn’t many people other than our tour group when we had visited and it was very peaceful inside.

Hello everyone, this is a beautiful place, I think in summer it is very green and more beautiful but I like it, it is a bit far from Sevan to get here, the only way is to go by taxi. The hotel where we stayed did not provide a car with two more people and we were able to do a tour of different places, always ask if they speak English so you can understand the history, our driver does not speak English, communication was a bit difficult. I loved this place, I was able to speak with the pastor of the church, he speaks English, I recommend it to you, you always have to negotiate, if you don't speak English it is not good to pay a lot.
