Too pricey. And need extra entrance fee for others. Parking 150TL. No toilet after entrance. We need to pay 20TL for toilet next to entrance. €40 for entrance included the museum(light show, the only toilet inside). €40 exclude the Terrace House, need extra €15 for entrance. The largest theater is renovating. Can't wait to see that huge architecture.

Amazing site with all the history definitely need a tour guide to take you through all of it so you get a full understanding of all the history The site is large so be prepared for a long walk but definitely worth it Only down side was seeing to men in their mid twenties trying to climb on a statue to take a picture. Was wishing security was there to kick them out. Our tour guide shouted at them to get down can see what people can’t respect history

It's a wonderful historical place that is best described as an open-air museum. The most impressive building is the fabulous looking and stunning library. As You walk you see intricate mosaics and frescoes. The streets paved by marble stones can be slippery when wet. The massive amphitheatre is a sight to behold.

Built in the X century BC, it was one of twelve cities that were members of the Ionian League. Came under the control of the Roman Republic in 129 BC. The city once welcomed Alexander the Great. Come as early as possible as the site is always crowded. Don't miss: The Temple of Hadrian, stone carvings of the goddess Nike and Heracles (with the lion's hide), the Library of Celsus and the Amphitheatre. The terrace houses have a separate entrance, and the line could be long, but it's totally worth waiting because of the mosaics.

Visited Ephesus recently as part of a tour group, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide gave us so much insight and background about the ancient city, which really helped me appreciate the history behind every ruin. The Library of Celsus, the amphitheatre, and the marble streets were truly impressive. That said, there’s a lot of walking, and it can get really hot, especially during the day. Make sure to bring water, wear a hat and comfortable shoes, and try visiting early to avoid the crowd and heat. Overall, a must-visit site if you love history — just be prepared for the walk and the sun!
