Look for Steve Clopper for a tour guide in New York City. He is very well spoken, loves his job and cares about everyone’s safety while exploring the city on foot!
The sites were great. The driver was great. DC was beautiful. There was far more bad than good. Do not spend your time away from home and hard earned money with this company. The bad: The van had a mechanical problem. There was either a bad carrier bearing or wheel bearing on the vehicle. We heard the loud whine of the bad part the entire trip. I wad worried it was gping to leave us stranded. The really bad: Allen was our main guide. He was a nice man amd very smart. However he spent every minute of the entire trip ranting about his political views. He was an angry person that was obsessed with talking g about and trying to convince everyone on the trip to buy into his political ideology. People are allowed to think and believe what they want I clouding allen. But he he was far beyond normal. He spend thw entire 11 hours spewing rhetoric to a 14 year old girl from Europe that was on vacation with her family. Allen did not end a story the entire day with out political hate about the current leadership. It was Inappropriate and honestly made everyone on the trip uncomfortable. Even the driver of the van and spanish translator seemed uncomfortable.
We had an excellent experience, so much to see, and both the driver and tour guide were very friendly and fun! We decided to end our tour at the Brooklyn Bridge which was a great opportunity to stay longer to view the city at night and to visit the ice rink and market. Highly recommend the tour
