Immerse Yourself in the Cascading Beauty of Krka National Park on a Day Trip from Split
Escape the bustling streets of Split for a refreshing day trip to Krka National Park, one of Croatia’s most celebrated natural treasures. This excursion invites travelers to explore a landscape defined by its series of spectacular waterfalls and lush river ecosystems. As you journey through the park, you will witness the power of the Krka River as it carves through the limestone terrain, creating a series of cascading pools and rapids that are truly a sight to behold.
The tour offers a perfect blend of natural wonder and cultural discovery. Guests can admire the main waterfall, Skradinski Buk, where the water tumbles over seventeen natural barriers into a wide, emerald-green basin. Swimming in the designated areas provides a unique opportunity to cool off in the refreshing river water, surrounded by the vibrant greenery of the park. It is an ideal way to experience the raw, untamed beauty of the Dalmatian hinterland in a relaxed and accessible setting.
Beyond the natural attractions, the itinerary includes a visit to an idyllic Dalmatian town, where the pace of life slows down significantly. Wandering through the narrow, cobblestone streets, visitors can admire the traditional stone architecture and soak in the authentic atmosphere of the region. This cultural component adds depth to the experience, allowing guests to appreciate the harmony between the local communities and the surrounding environment that has been preserved for centuries within the park's boundaries.
Designed for those who appreciate both nature and history, this day trip from Split is a seamless way to explore one of Croatia's crown jewels. The combination of guided exploration and free time ensures that every visitor can enjoy the park at their own pace. Whether you are looking to capture stunning photographs, take a dip in the river, or simply enjoy a peaceful walk, this tour provides a comprehensive and memorable experience in the heart of Dalmatia.

Customer Reviews

We really enjoyed our tour to Krka. Vic, our tour guide, was amazing from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts with good humour. The company is very responsive and efficient if you have a question. Would definitely recommend!

The tour was amazing. Nina, our guide, did an excellent job of making the tour fun by adding history and humor. She was also very communicative about where and when to be places. The park is beautiful and the addition of laying on the beach added to the trip.

Booked through Krka tours website. It was really just a bus trip to the falls with a bit of talking from Ivana at the start of the bus journey but convenient way to see the spectacular falls and Skradin. It was not made clear that the park entrance fee was not included in the price on the website. You need to make this much clearer and on the confirmation email you you send out too, Make sure you take cash for this fee (at the time of posting this it was 30e adult and 15e Kids and students needed ID) so you don’t have to draw out cash from the expensive machines at the meeting point. Falls are amazing well worth a visit but expect crowds in peak season!
