Marin was a great guide and provided a knowledgeable account of the history of Croatia and Dubrovnik. He spoke fluently (excellent English) and with a great sense of humour. The time flew by. The personal touches - his great grandfather’s life story, his grandparents conflicting views of the war in the 90s - made the tour even more special, and set in context such recent historic events and how they shape the Croatia and surrounding countries that we experience today.
