This is such a fantastic park. it is very large and has multiple entrances that most of them are seasonal. Be sure to double check if they are open and what type of year. The rainforest were beautiful as we came in November and it was very wet and chilly. The bark was not very crowded, but also the weather was not ideal. There are so many different climates from mossy rainforest to evergreen forest and Meadows. We did not get a chance to hike in the mountains as it was not suitable in November.

The most magical place I've ever been in my life. Highly recommend Beach 4 if you would like to experience tide pools! You have to walk up/down hundreds of stairs to get to the beach of Beach 4 but if you are physically capable of doing it, it feels like a once in a lifetime experience. We also pulled over to take in Lake Crescent and it was truly magnificent.

I visited Olympic National Park and loved the variety of landscapes, from the lush rainforest to the rugged coastline. Hiking through the moss-covered trails felt magical, and the mountain views were breathtaking. What I didn’t like was how crowded some of the popular spots got, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 for its incredible natural beauty and diversity.

Words cannot describe the ethereal natural beauty this park possess. Ocean, mountain, forest - you will find all three in the same place. All the hiking trails are really pretty as well. Specifically, the hurricane Ridge Trail. That place is out of the world even though the hiking itself is a bit tough.

We spent the whole day at Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park with our grandkids, and it was absolutely wonderful. The setting is stunning — crystal clear water, mountain views in the background, and plenty of space along the shoreline to just relax. The kids loved playing by the lake while we sat back and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The visitor center nearby was convenient for restrooms, information, and grabbing a few small things, but the real highlight is simply being by the lake. Parking was easy, and the area is very accessible for families, which made the day stress-free. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time and just soak in the beauty. A perfect family day — relaxing, memorable, and easy to enjoy without needing a big plan. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic spot in Olympic National Park.
