Join a historical and musical bus journey to Trakai and discover the rich history of Lithuania. On the way, you will drive through the Soviet era blocks of Vilnius and pass the UNESCO heritage site of the Old Town, learning about key events that shaped the country, including the Teutonic Knights, the union with Poland, basketball, and life during the Soviet period. The tour is family friendly with only about one hour on the bus each way, making it easy for children and infants with appropriate car seats.
In Trakai you can spend two and a half to three hours exploring the town. You may choose to join a visit to a local restaurant to try traditional Lithuanian dishes, and if you like, you can visit Trakai Castle for a small fee. On the return journey, we will stop briefly at the Hill of Angels, built in 2009 to promote devotion and celebrate Lithuania's thousand year history. The tour combines history culture and local flavors, making it perfect for families and curious travelers alike.

There are places that touch something deep inside you — quietly, without warning. The Hill of Angels is one of those rare, mysterious corners of the world where you suddenly feel something bigger than words. As I walked among the wooden angels, each carrying its own message of love, peace, or hope, I couldn’t explain why my eyes filled with tears. It wasn’t sadness — it was a wave of something pure, sacred, and ancient, as if the air itself remembered thousands of prayers whispered here. There’s a silence that speaks louder than sound. The breeze between the sculptures feels alive, almost like a gentle conversation with your soul. You sense kindness, forgiveness, and a strange comfort — as if unseen hands rest on your shoulders, telling you that everything is exactly as it should be. It’s a place where time stops. Where heart opens. Where mystery becomes peace.

This place was very beautiful felt really scary at first since it was super windy and cloudy. We were the only one there, no one else plain lands everywhere. We felt blessed by this angels after when we bumped into situations. Things went like everysingle time god has sent someone to fix it. We really felt the presence of angels in our life.

Unusual collection of wooden (but not only) statues depicting angels of all forms and shapes

Such a lovely place to take a walk. Fully recommended. It’s solemn and calm. I’ve been there a couple of times and I would be visiting again and again. I recommend you visit before the sun sets, so you can get the most magical view.

Amazing! Love the love, compassion, kindness, friendship, and bikers angels especially. However, they are all unique and beautiful 🙏. Hope the project will reach it's goal. Definitely worth a visit!
