We will pick you up from your accommodation and travel just over an hour to reach the breathtaking Korouoma Canyon near Rovaniemi. This winter journey takes you deep into a dramatic natural reserve known for its towering cliffs and frozen landscapes. Once there, you will follow a guided 5 km circular trail through the canyon, surrounded by snow covered forests and impressive ice formations created by flowing waterfalls frozen in time.
Along the route, you will see the famous frozen waterfalls of Jaska Jokunen, Mammuttiputous and Ruskea. Halfway through the hike, we will stop to rest and warm up with hot drinks and snacks by the fire while enjoying the peaceful Arctic surroundings. There will also be time to enjoy natural snow slides formed along the trail. After completing the walk, we will return you comfortably to your accommodation.
