Mount Rainier is unreal. The views feel almost fake in the best way, and you’re constantly catching something new, wildlife, waterfalls, huge trees, wildflowers in the summer, and that mountain just sitting there like it owns the whole place. If you’re going in summer, I’d strongly recommend a weekday if you can swing it. Weekends get packed fast, parking fills up, and the popular spots can feel more like a line than a hike. Going earlier in the morning also makes a big difference.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mount Rainier National Park, Washington – Stunning Beauty Even During the Government Shutdown Visiting Mount Rainier National Park in Washington during the government shutdown meant limited access to some areas, but the parts that were open were still absolutely breathtaking. The views of Mount Rainier, the surrounding alpine forests, and the dramatic mountain scenery made the trip well worth it. Even with restrictions in place, the park offered peaceful moments, fresh mountain air, and incredible opportunities for scenic photography and nature appreciation. Experiencing this iconic national park with fewer crowds made it feel especially serene. I look forward to returning when the park is fully accessible, but this visit was a powerful reminder that Mount Rainier National Park’s natural beauty shines in every season.
Mount Rainier is absolutely breathtaking! I’ve only been there once, but will definitely be returning. There are so many hikes and trails to go on with such amazing perspective of the mountain. These photos were taken on the trail to Mount Fremont Lookout on the Sunrise Side. If you think these pictures are amazing, the view is even more amazing in person.
