My French family visited Ireland for the first time, and I decided to book a private tour with Sligo Tours to make the most of their trip and it turned out to be the best decision! Eugene was incredibly flexible and such a friendly guide. We experienced so much in one day and discovered many of Sligo’s stunning landscapes and fascinating history. My family was absolutely delighted. A special thanks also to Denise, who was wonderful and even arranged taxis for us throughout the weekend. I’m so glad I found this team I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I’ve been to Ireland 12 times over the years and my day with Sean last Saturday was the best day I’ve experienced in all my travels around Ireland. We saw so much beauty and history, all which was fascinating, but Sean was the very best part. He’s knowledgeable, great in conversation, well known and highly regarded by people in the community, accommodating, and incredibly kind. I truly can’t say enough good and great things about him. The great weather certainly helped, but my strong hunch is that rain and fog wouldn’t have kept Sean from making it a great day. Thank you for providing me such a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price.

If you are lucky enough to make it to Sligo, you won’t do better than choosing Eugene to tour the beautiful area. My husband and I spent a number of days there in part of a fall Ireland visit, traveling without a car, relying on a mix of train and private drivers. Sligo town itself, and county have much to offer and exceeded every expectation. I highly recommend making it part of your travel. Eugene himself was a joy to work with from the start, easily answering my questions ahead through email. He was professional in every aspect, flexible, and so enjoyable to spend time with. He drove us for a day of the Yeats Benbulben Tour sights, and then another full day from Sligo to Galway with great stops along the way and including through the Doolaugh Valley. Touring with Eugene was like having a wonderful family friend take you around. I can’t recommend him highly enough and hope someday to return to Sligo and have the pleasure again of Eugene’s expert service.

Eugene was super flexible and showed us amazing sights all around Sligo. He adjusted the tour on the fly for the weather conditions and the things we wanted to see, all the while telling stories about the local history and people. Highly recommended.

We would highly recommend Eugene from Sligo Tours. His tour was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. When I was booking the tour with Eugene, I asked him if we could add a few extra stops to our tour. He responded to our emails promptly and went out of his way to accommodate us and ensured that we did not miss out on anything throughout the day. Eugene is very knowledgeable and a great story teller. He picked us up from our hotel on time and gave our family an incredible day. Thank you Eugene for showing us around Sligo, we especially appreciated you taking us to the Holy Well and also to the area where our family originated.
