Nov 2025 US travelers History comes alive in this historic, unique, must see in person sight. What to expect: A very busy, large complex. Buy tickets in advance, line to enter moves quickly, security is present but polite, people from all over the world. We had no guide & had a great experience. This is where cultures & architectures mix. Roman, Muslim, Christian to form a one of a kind sight where churches were built on top of each other. I was moved observing people of different faiths view & learn of their histories. Easy, fun, informative, high value day trip via train from Seville. Cordoba has lots to offer - enjoy!
This is one of the most interesting buildings I have ever visited in my years of traveling. Is not only incredibly well preserved and restored but also you can track the history of the building and the altar and coir are incredibly stunning. Buy the ticket in advance, and get a tour guide, you will loose too much of what's in front of your eyes without it. 10/10. Expect crowds and low temperatures inside the building in the winter. Enjoy the pics and videos.
