One of the best guided tours I have ever done! The island is definitely worth visiting by 4x4, as it gives the opportunity to admire the landscapes, spot the wild animals, visit one of the prisons, tour the turtle sanctuary and go for a swim! Our guide, Ilaria was top notch! She was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us many detailed explanations along the way and answering the different questions we had! On the crossing by boat to the island we even saw dolphins. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Sardinia!
Our family of four had a wonderful time on this day trip. Everything ran extremely smoothly, including the bus and boat transport and the jeep tour, which itself was very engaging. We saw a lot of really cute grey and albino donkeys, even seeing a one month old albino donkey. We also saw some horses, goats, and a mom and two babies of wild pigs. We had plenty of time to stop at a beach and did some nice snorkeling. We also saw the old prison branches and got to go inside of one to see some replicas and items from significant parts of the old community. We visited a turtle rehabilitation Centre for a small price and got to observe two turtles that were regaining their strength to be released. Our guide Alicia was very kind, and helpful leading the tour in both English and Italian, sharing equal amounts of information in both languages. There were also many facilities and stops along the way to take photos. We would definitely recommend this company and this day trip. It was a highlight of our trip!
Highly recommended! The tour is amazing - both nature and history. Amazing landscapes and rock formations. The donkeys are super cute - especially the albino ones. Our guide Alice was very friendly and knowledgeable.
