Great accommodation, fabulous rooms and amazing people.

Pádraig and Michelle are fantastic hosts. The lodge is amazing and right on the banks of Lough Corrib, so the view is incredible. Perfect for an evening drink and a chat about the day's fishing. The rooms are really comfortable and breakfast is world class. The fishing is incredible. Corrib really is as good as you've heard. The fish aren't easy, but the quality is incredible. Pádraig has an encyclopedic knowledge of the lough and regardless of the time of year, or conditions, he'll find fish. Very highly recommended

Michelle and Padraig are perfect hosts. The Lodge is lovely. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The views across the lough are stunning. This is the perfect location if you're fishing the lough, or having a quiet holiday in the country. The local town of Oughterad has a decent selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. I've already recommended Birchall to friends and would definitely come back in the future. Thank you Birchall Lodge!

From the moment of arrival I was in awe...of everything from the lodge to the garden the view was spectacular. Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts I was made feel at home straight away.I can't say enough about this place it's a slice of heaven and the poached eggs were up there aswell👌...highly recommend

This lodge was absolutely beautiful and an ideal location for exploring Kylemore Abbey, sheep dog demonstrations, riding horses along the beaches, and so much more! The hosts went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and making our stay with our family a memorable one. At the end of the day, we enjoyed rowing and kayaking in the boats provided by the lodge. To wind down, we enjoyed cooking family dinners in the beautiful and spacious kitchen, eating in the lovely dining room, and shutting down by the wood burning fire. All of the rooms had their own touch of beauty and personalization, and many opened up to a deck where you could view the beautiful lake and its islands. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
