Customer Reviews
We booked a trip through Viator without knowing the tour operator so I think it combined some wineries with the boat and duouro vintage lunch and winery. Regardless the duouro vintage food and winery was a highlight of our tour !! The food and wines were amazing as were the staff and food. If you don't have allergies I would eat the food the way it was meant to be eaten. The host Miguel made it entertaining and Gorge, our server, was very attentive. The boat tour was a nice touch but it didn't offer any further information and was self serve so our group was pretty quiet. I enjoyed the combination. I would highly recommend!
Staff very hospitable! They spoke good English. Had great cocktails and snacks while enjoying a leisurely cruise down the majestic Douro River. Staff very informative. Highly recommend this activity because you get what you pay for!
We wanted a small, private tour for 8 people and chose Vintage for a 3 hour tour up river from Pinhao. Boy did we choose well! Antonio and Pedro educated us on the history of the Duoro and provided us with excellent white wine and port. They also supplied the best ham, sausage, cheese and bread appetizers we have had so far in Portugal. They don't have restrooms on the boat, but with the food, we didn't even need one! The boat was just the right size for 8 of us and very comfortable. If you are looking for a nice tour of the Duoro, Vintage is the one to take! Kudos to Antonio and Pedro for a simply outstanding tour and food/wine!
