First time ordering from Tokyo Kitchen and it was awful. The oyakodon was all wrong, the chicken was deep fried instead of pan fried and was tough instead of tender. The egg was overcooked when it should be soft and runny. The karaage chicken was no better, covered in thick batter with tough meat inside. Definitely not authentic Japanese food. Really disappointing and wouldn’t recommend at all.

Absolutely the best chicken Katsu curry you can have. They also put ALOT of food for you. Rice in one container and the chicken katsu with all the saucy goodness in another. Both containers are PACKED aswell. Very rare in dublin where food leaves you stuffed and be so delicious you still want more just for the taste. 10/10 would recommend!!

Went yesterday with a friend and we had Yoki Udon and big Salmon Futomaki. The yoki udon noodles were very nice, the dish it’s quite oily though. I tried one of the sushi but it’s not my favourite, seemed like it’s from the fridge after a day, or something like that, but my friend really loved it, so I guess it depends on the person. Price is very acceptable and staff is nice.

I was in Smithfield and most places were closed at 9pm. I stumbled upon Tokyo Kitchen and was delighted with my meal I Had the daily wok platter that came with crispy prawns with salad, rice and crispy chicken with vegetables. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The prawns were tasty and crispy, the chicken portion was good and in a really tasty sauce. I would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and attentive. Only downside is there are no seating for customers so you have to stand at a high table. Benches would be a much better idea.

We had the best takeaway Japanese food here! They use the most fresh and high quality ingredients and really taste wonderful when bite into the mouth. Takeaway is easy to order online or via the phone call. Definitely will order in future many times.
