In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a coil-built dish that can be used for trinkets, soap, jewelry, or any small personal items. You’ll have the freedom to select from a variety of provided templates or design your own unique shape, allowing your creativity to guide the form and style of your piece. The session is suitable for all skill levels, offering a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn basic hand-building techniques while shaping something functional and personal.

Once your dish is formed, the creative transformation truly begins. In collaboration with Remark Glass in South Philadelphia, a special multicolored glass blend made from recycled bottles and containers is combined with Black Hound’s signature glazes. This process produces striking, one-of-a-kind surface effects that are often beautifully unpredictable. To make these clay experiences accessible to a wide range of participants, the workshop is offered on a sliding scale with three pricing tiers, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your situation.
