This option offers both a convenient transfer and a full-day tour of Terceira Island in the Azores. Upon arrival at Lajes Airport, you will be transported in private and maximum comfort to your hotel, hostel, or local accommodation. On a day of your choice, enjoy an 8-hour guided tour of the island, including lunch, visiting the most significant tourist attractions. Highlights include photo stops at panoramic viewpoints over the city of Angra do Heroísmo and the largest islet in the Azores, a visit to Terceira’s most ancient church showcasing magnificent 16th-century paintings, and exploring the city center of Praia da Vitória. You will also photograph the famous landscape “Manta de Retalhos,” the largest volcanic caldera of the archipelago.

The tour continues with a regional lunch featuring alcatra de carne, beverages, and dessert. After lunch, explore the inside of the Algar do Carvão, an empty volcano and one of the island’s most visited natural monuments. Discover the natural pools formed by basaltic lava flows and enjoy tasting artisanal cheese produced on the island.
