Totally worth the hype. The water is incredibly clear, a true paradise. Some even say it’s the Maldives of Egypt.

I have mixed feelings about this place being good. The water is as clear as in many other places, the sand is very fine and rather unusual for Sharm El Sheikh. There is practically no reef. The scuba diving is rather uninteresting. The whole trip to Ras Muhammad park was very nice but the white island was not special.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. There’s not much else to do other than take in the stunning views, but that alone is worth the trip. It can get very crowded at times, as it’s a small piece of land. I engraved my initials into the sand as a little keepsake that i stepped foot on this land! You might spot pieces of dead coral washed up on the shore, and the sea is so shallow around the island that you can simply walk to it once you get close. The water is crystal-clear but very salty, so be careful with your eyes. A truly unique and breathtaking spot.

White Island is stunning. Crystal clear water, soft white sand, and breathtaking views all around. A true paradise and one of the most beautiful spots in Egypt. It's as good as the Maldives!

We bought this trip from the hotel so no need to purchase online unless you really want to. The island is beautiful but be aware, you have to swim to it as boats are not allowed to dock nearby. When you purchase the trip don't bother with the diving aspect as it's super rushed and you get max of 15 min. You're better off just snorkeling, you can see the corals and fish and saves you 30 dollars. They advertise the trip as unlimited drinks but we only had coca cola, 7up and some Ali Express coffee which we couldn't drink, so bring water with you just in case and a lot of sun cream too.
