My son, our dog and I visited Cabin Under The Hills at the end of October 2025. We had the most amazing time. So quiet and beautiful. Just what we needed. We stayed in Coolnasmuttaun Cabin. It was very comfortable, warm and cozy, had everything we needed. The estate itself is wonderful. If you take your bikes you can go for lovely cycles all around it. We used the cabin as a base for visiting MTB trails in the area. It really is a great location! Our dog had the best time too, so many scents and places to explore. We hope we can come back in spring/summer. I bet the estate will look so differently than in autumn, I'd love to see everything in bloom and enjoy long evenings on the porch.
We had a wonderful time in the Knockaun cabin. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, including a bottle of fresh apple juice, and the cabin itself is very confortable and it has everything you could need, with a modern and cozy aesthetic. It was also very easy to keep it warm at night with the fireplace, even though it was quite cold outsise. The farm was absolutely gorgeous, dressed in autumn colours. We'll be back next spring for sure!
We had an incredible couple of days. What a brilliant way of just forcing yourself to slow down and switch off. The setting is beyond dreamy, views for days. The cabin is gorgeous, homely and has everything you need. The fact we could bring our two golden retrievers was even better and they had as much of a good time as we did. Small issue with water but the hosts were so responsive and attentive. It really was a minor issue and didn’t in anyway affect our stay. Thank you so much to you guys for creating a piece of magic in the hills of Cappoquin Estate. It’s fabulous and we will be back!
