ACA Swiftwater Rescue Full Course

This four day river safety recertification course is designed for experienced paddlers who want to refresh, refine, and validate their advanced rescue knowledge in a realistic river environment. The program focuses on hands on practice, scenario based learning, and practical decision making that reflects real world river conditions. Participants will revisit essential concepts from the full Level 4 course while sharpening technical skills through guided drills and evaluations.

Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on proactive risk management, efficient teamwork, and low risk responses to dynamic river situations. You will practice swimmer recovery, equipment retrieval, rope systems, and in water rescue techniques while learning to assess hazards and manage rescue scenes effectively. This course supports confident leadership on the river and helps ensure your skills remain current, functional, and reliable.
