Discover Covent Garden like never before on this immersive walking tour, uncovering the hidden history, spectacles, and scandals that lie beneath its well-known streets. This tour pulls back the curtain on the area, taking you along the paths once walked by pimps, Victorian actors, and protesters, revealing a side of Covent Garden that is rarely seen. You will explore London’s oldest surviving theatre, visit a plague burial ground, and see the scene of a brutal historical murder. Along the way, the tour highlights fascinating characters whose lives are woven into the history of the area, from the notorious barra-boys and pimps to blind magistrates and inspirational activists who helped shape the neighborhood.

For those unable to attend the scheduled tours or who prefer exploring at their own pace, a self-guided option is available. A downloadable Google map provides access to over 300 historic locations highlighted on the blog and Instagram, offering a detailed guide to Covent Garden’s hidden past. Additional resources, including blog posts and Instagram reels, give further insights into the area’s rich and sometimes scandalous history, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of one of London’s most iconic and intriguing neighborhoods. Quite good shows. There are different shows and people. They pretty much all have the same type of speech and lines apart from the stunts they do. However some are more agressive and use low self esteem techniques to get into the parents/adults. Others are more ethical and have better stories, such as the Singaporean circus student who needed the money to pay tuition and studies. It would be nice to see more personality into the shows and not so much the same script for everyone.

Said to draw lots to decide the playing order each day. Very democratic. Anything ranging from singers, musicians, magicians, acrobats and comics. Something for all ages but only when it's not raining. No cover at all, even for the most diehard performers and audiences.
