Lodging check in at Orvis Hot Springs is available between three pm and eight pm. Guests must register in person by eight pm or call ahead for late check in instructions if they have previously stayed at the property. All overnight guests are required to show a valid ID at check in. Guests under eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and children under four are not permitted in lodging accommodations. Only registered and paid guests may stay overnight on the property. On check in day, room guests may arrive as early as nine am to enjoy the hot springs by notifying the front desk. Daily housekeeping is provided and guests are expected to be courteous and respectful of staff. Check out is at eleven am and late check out may incur additional charges. Guests may soak until nine pm on the day of check out but must use downstairs facilities afterward. Additional nights can be requested by eleven am based on availability. Orvis Hot Springs treats all guests equally to ensure a welcoming environment for everyone.

The Uncompahgre Room is one of the most popular lodging options due to its cozy feel and scenic views of the grounds. The room features a king bed with an oversized leather headboard made in Mexico, a matching vanity and sink, and a table with two chairs. The room accommodates up to three guests and smoking is prohibited. Guests have twenty four hour access to the hot springs and are provided with deluxe terry cloth robes, a small refrigerator, and bottled water. Shared community bathrooms and access to the community kitchen are available for all lodging guests.
