Stopped into The Chandelier Bar by trying the secret “flower drink,” the Verbena. It’s not on the menu, but well worth asking for. The drink itself wasn’t the highlight—the real experience was the buzz from the flower. After one sip and chewing the flower, my mouth was instantly tingling and alive, creating a fun, strange sensation that enhanced the flavors. It only lasted a couple of minutes, but it made for a memorable and playful experience. Definitely worth trying at least once when you’re at the Cosmo. Head to Donkey Bar speakeasy after
This is an exceptional bar!! The aesthetic is outstanding and the drinks and service were equally as great. Don't expect the drinks to be cheap because they are not but I think that they are fair for the standard of venue
We stopped by The Chandelier at the Cosmopolitan to finally try the secret “flower drink,” the Verbena. It’s not on the menu, but a friend had tipped us off—so of course we had to give it a go. The drink itself isn’t amazing in terms of flavor, but that’s not really the point. The experience is the drink. Our waitress explained the process: take a sip, chew the Szechuan flower, then sip again. I ended up eating the whole flower with my first sip, and immediately my mouth started buzzing. It was funny, weird, and honestly pretty entertaining. The sensation only lasted a minute or two, but it definitely heightened the flavors and made the whole thing worth trying. It’s not a cocktail you’d order for taste alone, but if you’re looking for a unique experience, the Verbena is a must-try. Give it a shot the next time you’re there!
