Please do not make my mistake and avoid this place at all cost!! Once you’re seated and order the men become very aggressive and they add a large sum to the bill calling it a “service charge”. I ordered a fresh coconut and there was barely any liquid. Unfortunately due to the weight of the coconut itself and the fact that I was trying to enjoy myself (not assuming that I need to be on high alert for scamming) I didn’t notice, until I took 4 sips (unfortunately this is not an exaggeration) and the coconut was finished. I alerted the merchants and they tried to sell me something else. It’s one thing to just be scammed out of money, but it’s extremely frightening to think where they got that coconut from. Was it a residual coconut from someone else? Was the content spiked? I politely asked for the bill, paid and left. I’ve immediately alerted my GP and family back home. If I do get sick or worse, at least the authorities are alerted.

This afternoon there was a lot of wind, and water was rising quick. My wife and brother in-law went to get some drinks. My towel and bags got wet and had to move right passed the beach chairs. As I was gathering all my things I had security approach me and tell me to move. I told them to give me a minute as everything got wet. I felt singled out, there was multiple people doing the same thing but I was getting rushed to move. I had another security guard approach me and ask me if there was a problem. I told him I needed a minute, I had multiple bags to move. Extremely rude security, they clearly saw multiple people doing the same thing. They didn't approach others in the same manner.

Don't go to this beach bar, they scam people by adding extra drinks you didn't order. I read other reviews and it definitely isn't a one off thing. There are plenty other good beach bars that won't rip you off and overcharge you.

When I arrived I was greeted by an employee and they explained how their service works. I was escorted to the beach and allowed to pick where I wanted to sit and if I wanted to sit under a cabana or umbrella, I chose the former. I ordered a mango daquiri and the club sandwich both of which were satisfactory. I was planning to read a book but that was impossible with the music they play. Overall the employees were professional and I found the atmosphere relaxing so I will return during my trip.

They were very accommodating and helped me with my son's stroller. It was like $65US for the beach chair/papapa/or umbrella (your choice) plus a part of the money is credited for food and drinks. The was nice. The beach was nice and clean. Just took a while to get my second drink. Security was on it. I felt safe leaving my belongings. Someone was their watching. They had showers to rinse off. Very nice. Wish the nachos were better. But all and all not a bad day at the beach!
