The Kemah Aquarium brings engaging and interactive aquatic experiences directly to your school or learning environment, making wildlife education accessible without the need for buses or additional chaperones. Our outreach programs feature knowledgeable educators, live animals, and hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and foster conservation awareness. Programs include a wide variety of topics, from squidy anatomy dissections to coral reef and rainforest explorations, all aligned with educational standards and adaptable for different age groups and learning needs. Each session provides students with a unique opportunity to learn about animals and ecosystems in a safe and controlled classroom setting. These programs are structured to be interactive and hands-on, supporting meaningful student participation while ensuring the wellbeing of the animals. Each session accommodates a limited number of participants to maintain quality engagement, and programs must be conducted indoors for safety and comfort. While specific animals cannot be reserved, students can observe ambassador animals and learn about their special adaptations. Policies for registration, cancellations, and scheduling are in place to ensure a smooth and organized experience, making it simple for schools and organizations to plan an enriching and memorable program.
